  • Provide virtual administration of cognitive and achievement assessments following best practice tele-assessment standards
  • Conduct other portions of the evaluation, including interviews and virtual observations, adaptive behavior, social/emotional behavior, and executive functioning assessments
  • Integrate assessment results into a comprehensive evaluation report and submit paperwork as needed
  • Present evaluation findings at team meetings and collaborate with school teams regarding eligibility determination
  • Maintain knowledge of principles and evidence-based practices
  • Attend relevant training offered by county agencies and the department of education to stay current on regulations and best practices
  • Collaborate on intervention planning, MTSS, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address learning and behavioral needs
  • Support and coach staff through professional development and team meetings
  • Keep thorough records and help maintain compliance with all required reports
  • Contribute to policies and procedures
  • Additional duties as assigned

About You

  • Experience in school or special education settings preferred

  • Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
  • Understanding and ability to manage confidential information
