What is virtual work?

Virtual work refers to jobs or tasks performed remotely, typically using computers and internet technology. Virtual workers, also known as remote workers or telecommuters, can complete their responsibilities from any location outside of a traditional office. Professionals in virtual work roles often face challenges such as communication barriers, feelings of isolation, and difficulties in maintaining work-life balance. To address these, it is important to establish clear communication channels with teammates, schedule regular check-ins, and set firm boundaries for work hours.
