As a Virtual Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting private therapy sessions through secure video calls, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for clients.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to the unique needs of each client, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that outline strategies and objectives to guide clients on their mental health journey.
• Promoting healthy coping strategies and enhancing self-awareness among clients through various therapeutic approaches.
• Regularly tracking client progress and revising treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes and ensure effective care delivery.

Your clients will include individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues. You will work with a diverse demographic, including young adults, families, and older adults. Your role will be vital in helping clients cultivate resilience, improve their mental well-being, and achieve personal goals in their life journey.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Current and active licensure (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) with no restrictions.
• Strong ability to work independently, demonstrating effective time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in utilizing various therapeutic methodologies.
• Familiarity with technology and virtual platforms, ensuring a smooth and efficient therapy experience for clients.

A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role is required. Experience with telehealth services and virtual therapy modalities is highly desirable, as it enhances your ability to adapt to the remote work environment effectively. Additionally, familiarity with community health frameworks and an understanding of cultural competency in mental health care will be advantageous.
