The Onsite Wellness Coordinator/Health Coach will be responsible for administration of onsite wellness initiatives for high profile customer in Benton Harbor, MI. It includes accountability for the onsite programs supporting the health of site population; resolving issues; and relationships with the members and customer.

*** Candidate must be available to work 3 days per week and travel locally between 3 locations.  ***

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Attend ERG meetings, advise/update be*well integrations, etc.; corporate only and present content for L&D, ERGs, teams, etc. 
  • Customize and present content for L&D, ERGs, teams, etc. 
  • Update communications and wellness initiatives across three buildings
  • Maintain Oasis wellness areas in each of three buildings
  • Lead onsite and virtual wellness champion meetings
  • Lead new hire orientation and benefits presentations including Corporate executives and global mobility executives
  • Maintain mother's pumping rooms with supplies, information, access for mothers
  • Conduct nicotine cessation classes for groups or individuals
  • Partner with the client's benefit vendors for promotion, education, referrals
  • Monthly wellness activities and maintaining wellness stop by booths at three locations
  • Work with cafeterias to promote healthy foods and programs
  • Partner with local hospitals and vendors building relationships
  • Work virtually amongst a team of 7 other wellness coordinators at different sites to provide overall yearly theme and maintenance of wellness calendar
  • Experience interacting with Corporate executives

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience in related wellness and/or health promotion activities
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of physical activity, nutrition and stress management related to promotion of healthy lifestyles and overall wellness
  • Proven track record of motivating people to make healthy lifestyle changes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., health promotion, health education, public health, exercise science)
  • Experience working with corporate managers
  • Public speaking and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management, problem solving, and communication skills

Soft Skills:

  • Energetic and compassionate personality willing to teach, learn and be open to new and innovative ways of delivering preventive and intervention services
  • Solid relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Clear and concise written & verbal communication skills; successful virtual presentation experience
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
