How you'll contribute:

A Hyperbaric Technician who excels in this role:

  •  Completes all required documentation in EMR.

  • Communicates patient information to the nursing staff and physician in charge of the center.

  • Assists in patient preparation for treatment.

  • Monitors patient condition continually during treatments and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.

  • Reinforces education as it relates to hyperbaric therapy.

  • Keeps complete and accurate patient records as they pertain to treatment documentation.

  • Performs duties and procedures as directed by Program Director, Medical Director, and/or Clinical Nurse Manager Coordinator.

  • Performs hyperbaric chamber operations and system maintenance as required.

  • Maintains competencies, continuing education and certifications as appropriate.

  • Make appropriate entries for daily hyperbaric treatments and wound care clinic visits including photo
    uploading.

  • Lift patient or transfer patients.

  • Performs daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual checks of the hyperbaric chamber.

  • Maintain clean environment in HBO chamber suite.

What we're looking for:
 Must be actively certified or licensed in one of the following vocations to meet the minimum education and experience requirements.
LPN
RN

 Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Must have completed a National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology approved hyperbaric medicine introductory course
