Our Emergency Department isn't just a unit; it's a community. We are seeking a Director of Emergency Services who is passionate about maintaining a culture of camaraderie, high-acuity clinical excellence, and approachable leadership.

Located in the heart of Lake Havasu, our ED manages everything from high-acuity trauma and environmental emergencies to seasonal surges driven by our vibrant tourism and outdoor community. We are looking for a decisive, critical-thinking RN leader to guide our team through these challenges while fostering the "family" atmosphere we are known for.

How you'll contribute 

ED Director who excels in this role:

  • Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Emergency Department. 

  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.

  • Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.

  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.

  • Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.

What we're looking for 

Applicants should have a current Arizona or Compact State RN license with Arizona endorsement and possess a Bachelor of Science (BSN) from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

  • Education: Master's degree (nursing or relevant field) preferred

  • Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Handle with Care

  • Experience: Emergency Department nursing and proven director leadership experience in the Emergency Department required.
