Position Summary
The Program Coordinator for Healthcare Programs (RN Compliance) serves as the Primary Instructor (PI) for Oakmont's state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training and Competency Evaluation Program (TCEP). This RN leads the instructional, clinical, and compliance components of the CNA pathway across multiple Oakmont campuses, ensuring alignment with CNA Pathway Pillars, ODH regulations, and Oakmont's CTE model.
Essential Responsibilities
Instructional Leadership:
• Serve as the Primary Instructor (PI) for Oakmont's CNA TCEP program.
• Deliver classroom, lab, and skills instruction aligned with ODH NATCEP curriculum.
• Oversee skills demonstrations, skills check-offs, and clinical readiness.
Clinical Oversight & Compliance:
• Attend all clinical sessions alongside the LPN Supplemental Instructor.
• Confirm clinical partner sites meet ODH requirements.
• Maintain accurate program documentation for state review.
Testing Coordination:
• Coordinate CNA state exam scheduling for each campus.
• Submit eligibility documents and class rosters.
• Communicate testing details to students and staff.
Program Quality & Coordination:
• Support fidelity across schools in instruction, compliance, and WBL.
• Collaborate with CTE team, Navigators, Directors, LPNs.
• Track credential attainment, clinical pacing, WBL progress.
Workforce & Community Engagement:
• Build and support healthcare employer partnerships.
• Participate in Healthcare Workforce Advisory Committee meetings.
• Support healthcare-focused PBL and community initiatives.
Position Details
• Full-time, mix of in-person and virtual classroom observation with regional travel around Northeast Ohio
• Competitive compensation aligned with RN instructor standards.
• Reports to VP of CTE and/or Regional CTE Quality Assurance Liaison.

Hourly-$40 per hour
Requirements
Required Qualifications
• • Current, unencumbered RN license in Ohio.• • Eligibility to serve as Primary Instructor under ODH (including 1 recent year in LTC).• • Willingness/ability to obtain Train-the-Trainer credential.• • Knowledge of CNA/STNA standards, compliance, and training.• • Ability to teach and support nontraditional high school learners.• • Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.• • Ability to travel across regional school and clinical sites.
Preferred Qualifications
• • Prior experience teaching CNA/STNA or healthcare training.• • Experience supervising LPNs or training clinical staff.• • Familiarity with CTE, dropout recovery, or alternative education.• • Experience with clinical coordination or workforce partnerships.
