Job description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support server patching, remediation, compliance initiatives, and OS/application upgrade activities within a large enterprise environment. This role will focus heavily on managing and deploying patches across Windows and Linux servers while partnering with infrastructure and InfoSec teams to address vulnerabilities and maintain system compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong hands‑on experience with SCCM for monthly, weekly, and ad‑hoc OS/application patching and deployments via Software Center
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows patching and update‑related issues
  • Experience performing in‑place OS upgrades
  • Experience partnering with InfoSec teams to remediate vulnerabilities and missing patches
  • Working knowledge of Linux server administration and patching methodologies
  • Experience with Azure Arc, including onboarding on‑premises servers for cloud‑based patch management
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
