A virtual internship is considered a legitimate internship if it provides work experience, skill development, and often a formal agreement or certification. However, the recognition may vary by industry or employer, so it's important to verify how the internship is valued for your career goals.

To find remote tech internships, search on job boards like LinkedIn, Indeed, or specialized internship platforms using keywords such as 'remote' and 'tech internship.' Applying early and networking through industry events can also increase your chances of securing a remote internship.
