Job Responsibilities: • Monitor and maintain computer configurations and performance in a VMware virtual environment • Perform Operating System, and hardware troubleshooting in bare-metal and virtual environments • Work with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and support systems in a 24x7 operating environment • Provide IT support to new system developments and system upgrades • Perform system backups and maintain system reconstitution capabilities and procedures • Develop and implement scripts to monitor, improve and/or automate system performance and maintainability • Maintain system documentation, configuration documents, user guides and troubleshooting procedures. • Systems are operational 24x7 and occasionally require work effort beyond standard work hours. • Full time 100% Onsite position. Basic Qualifications: • Typically requires bachelor's degree, if no degree must have 6 years of experience. • Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience. • Must have a Current TS/SCI CI Poly transferable U.S. government issued prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. • Must have Linux experience • Experience with administering virtual systems • Must have a current DODI 8570.01-M IAT Level II (or higher) certification Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Networking • Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
