Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Texas

VocoVision is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for virtual opportunities with school districts across Texas. Both full-time and part-time openings are available for clinicians interested in providing school-based speech and language services remotely through VocoVision’s teletherapy platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to K–12 students
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and eligibility-related activities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals
  • Complete progress reports, documentation, and required case management
  • Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams
  • Provide direct and indirect services according to student and district needs
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or an equivalent qualifying field
  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license through TDLR required, or ability to obtain appropriate Texas licensure before beginning services
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Familiarity with ARD/IEP processes, evaluations, eligibility determinations, and special education documentation
  • Experience with teletherapy or virtual service delivery preferred
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational, and technology skills
  • Reliable computer, webcam, and high-speed internet connection
