  • Lead network modernization initiatives, including SASE, SD-WAN, cloud networking, automation, and security enhancements.
  • Review and approve network designs, implementation plans, and infrastructure standards to ensure alignment with business, cybersecurity, and operational requirements.
  • Manage network hardware lifecycle, capacity planning, availability, and performance optimization.
  • Coordinate with IT leadership, project managers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are appropriately planned, staffed, monitored, and delivered.
  • Develop operational metrics and provide clear reporting on network availability, performance, service delivery, and improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate regular operational meetings, service reviews, and technical strategy discussions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of five years of experience leading network engineering and operations teams.
  • Experience supporting a global, 24x7 enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing geographically distributed technical teams.
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, QoS, and TCP/IP networking.
  • Experience with SASE technologies, including SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and secure remote access.
  • Strong knowledge of network security technologies, including VPNs, firewalls, NAC, IDS/IPS, and secure remote-access solutions.
  • Experience with cloud networking, wireless networking, internet edge infrastructure, high-availability design, and network monitoring and performance-management platforms.
  • Familiarity with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform or comparable network automation tools.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, capacity planning, and operational governance.
  • Strong project-management, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a professional services, legal, financial services, or other highly regulated environment.
  • Cisco CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, or Cisco SD-WAN certification.
  • CISSP, CISM, or a comparable security certification.
