As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Apex Mental and Behavioral Therapy, you will carry out a variety of essential duties that contribute to the success of our treatment programs:

• Deliver virtual psychotherapy sessions to individual clients grappling with various mental health issues within the context of substance abuse recovery.
• Conduct thorough assessments and design personalized treatment plans that utilize best practices and evidence-based, solution-oriented interventions.
• Administer therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address the unique needs of individuals recovering from substance abuse.
• Maintain precise and compliant clinical records while documenting patient progress and treatment milestones, ensuring adherence to organizational and state regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, and case managers, to coordinate comprehensive care for each patient.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to understand mental health and substance use challenges.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and treatment methodologies in the field of substance abuse and mental health, integrating relevant findings into your clinical practice.
• Effectively manage your caseload, striving to meet treatment goals while ensuring the delivery of ethical, high-quality care.

The population you will serve primarily consists of individuals affected by substance abuse disorders, along with co-occurring mental health issues. This diverse group may include adolescents and adults from various backgrounds, each presenting distinct challenges and needs. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of California.

We offer a highly competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year for full-time positions. Part-time opportunities are also available with compensation ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000, depending on hours worked and experience.
