The role of Clinical Mental Health Counselor is a full-time position designed for remote work, allowing you to contribute to client care from the comfort of your home or preferred location. Although primarily remote, we maintain a cohesive team environment through regular virtual check-ins, meetings, and collaborative treatment planning.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments using standardized tools and techniques to evaluate the mental health and substance use concerns of clients, accurately identifying co-occurring disorders.
• Craft individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT).
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to clients’ needs, focusing on the development of effective coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and relapse prevention techniques.
• Engage in seamless coordination with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and nursing professionals, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and integrated treatment.
• Perform regular substance use monitoring, employing motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client engagement and support recovery efforts.
• Provide relevant education to clients and their families regarding the complexities of mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing treatment adherence and recovery strategies.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and therapeutic interventions according to ethical and legal standards.
• Participate in ongoing case conferences, training sessions, and team meetings aimed at fostering continuous professional development and enhancing treatment modalities for co-occurring disorders.

You will primarily work with individuals struggling with mental health issues and substance use disorders who are seeking to improve their overall quality of life. Our clients often demonstrate a need for integrated support, so your ability to understand the interaction between mental health and substance use will be central to your practice. Tailoring your therapeutic approaches based on specific client needs will be critical in facilitating successful recovery outcomes.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Florida.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices for co-occurring disorders, with strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team framework.
• A commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for advocating for client needs throughout their recovery journey.

While not mandatory, previous experience working in a telehealth environment or with clients experiencing co-occurring disorders is highly advantageous. This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 – 100,000 annually, alongside a sign-on bonus. Benefits include:
