Are you an experienced Cardiac Device Specialist or cardiac device manufacturer representative looking for a flexible PRN opportunity? Join our Cardiology team and use your expertise to support patients with implanted cardiac devicesall while enjoying the flexibility of primarily working from home.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in a cardiac device clinic or with a pacemaker/ICD manufacturer who is comfortable independently reviewing remote device data and providing comprehensive clinical summaries.

Opportunity to support device clinics in the Fort Myers & Cape Coral areas

PRN hours are flexible and may range from just a few hours to a full 8-hour day, MondayFriday, based on department needs.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibility will be remote cardiac device monitoring and report processing. A typical day may include working from home and:

  • Reviewing cardiac device reports received from the four major manufacturer platforms

  • Processing remote cardiac device data

  • Reviewing and interpreting device information and cardiac rhythms

  • Compiling comprehensive patient summaries

  • Documenting findings in the PaceMate Live database

  • Troubleshooting and programming implanted cardiac devices as needed

  • Supporting device clinics in the Fort Myers and Cape Coral areas

  • Collaborating with physicians and other members of the care team

  • Providing a safe, professional, and positive patient experience

Who We're Looking For

We're specifically seeking someone with hands-on cardiac device experience, including:

At least 1 year of experience working in a cardiac device clinic OR working as a cardiac device/pacemaker manufacturer representative

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills

  • Experience reviewing remote cardiac device transmissions

  • Ability to work independently while managing a remote workload

  • Strong attention to detail and clinical documentation skills

  • Comfort working with cardiac device manufacturer platforms

  • Willingness and ability to occasionally cover device clinics in Fort Myers and Cape Coral

Requirements

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Diploma, Associates, or Bachelors degree in a health science field preferred, including cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, nursing, or a related discipline

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a device clinic or in the field for a cardiac device manufacturer preferred

  • Candidates with at least 1 year of cardiac device clinic or manufacturer representative experience are encouraged to apply

  • New graduates of a recognized cardiac device management training program, such as PrepMD, ATI, or similar, may be considered

Certifications

  • BLS (American Heart Association) required

  • CCDS through IBHRE preferred within 3 years of hire

Licensure

  • RCIS or RN preferred

Additional Skills

  • Advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation

  • Proficiency with electronic medical record documentation

  • Familiarity with cardiac device software such as PaceArt preferred

  • Strong computer and organizational skills
