Clinical Nurse Educator, Immunology--East
The Clinical Nurse Educator, Immunology serves as the field-based clinical education expert for the immunoglobulin therapies, supporting patients with primary humoral immunodeficiency (PIDD). The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) delivers disease-state and product administration education to nurses, infusion staff, and other healthcare professionals across hospital, home infusion, and infusion-suite settings, supporting safe initiation and continuation of immunoglobulin therapy. The CNE partners closely with Medical Affairs and the Commercial organization to ensure a consistent, compliant, and clinically credible education strategy across an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver in-service and administration-technique education on IgRT to nurses, infusion staff, and other HCPs at hospitals, infusion suites, and home health agencies.
  • Provide disease-state education on primary immunodeficiency (PIDD) to clinical staff, patients, caregivers, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Support onboarding of newly initiated patients, including administration training and recognition of adverse events (e.g., infusion reactions, thrombosis risk factors).
  • Partner with Medical Science Liaisons and the Commercial organization to coordinate a consistent education plan across a defined territory.
  • Assist with clinical training of new and experienced field colleagues on product and disease-state fundamentals.
  • Maintain and communicate current, in-depth clinical knowledge of immunoglobulin therapy, the competitive immunoglobulin landscape, and evolving PIDD treatment guidelines.
  • Independently plan and manage territory coverage, prioritizing accounts based on clinical need and travel logistics.
  • Document all field activity accurately and promptly in the company's CRM system.
  • Represent the company at relevant local and national scientific and patient advocacy conferences (e.g., AAAAI, ACAAI, IDF local and regional meetings).
  • Ensure all educational activities remain non-promotional and within appropriate clinical and compliance boundaries.

Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted RN license in state(s) covered by assigned territory required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; APRN/FNP or other advanced nursing credentials preferred
  • 5 to 8+ years of clinical nursing experience, including a minimum of 5 years' direct IVIG/SCIG infusion experience, preferably across at least two care settings (hospital, home infusion, ambulatory infusion suite).
  • Certification(s): Immunoglobulin Certified Nurse (IgCN) credential, or eligibility to sit for the exam; certification required within 60 days6 months of hire and must be maintained thereafter.
  • Prior pharmaceutical, biotech, or biologics field-based experience (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educator, MSL, or similar) preferred; experience with primary immunodeficiency (PIDD) or CIDP patient Populations preferred
  • Up to 6080% travel, including overnight travel, to cover an assigned multi-state territory and attend conferences and educational events.
  • Strong clinical credibility and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building ability with nursing and infusion staff.
  • Strong self-direction and time management in a remote, field-based environment.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Patient Services, and Commercial colleagues.
  • The minimum compliance expectation for this role entails strict adherence to FDA regulations and company policies governing medical and educational field activities. This includes completion of required compliance training, accurate documentation of field interactions, and adherence to data privacy regulations. Additionally, the role requires proactive participation in compliance reviews, prompt reporting of any potential issues, and ongoing education to stay updated on relevant FDA regulations and immunoglobulin nursing standards (e.g., IgNS protocols).

Base salary range: $160,000 - $180,000 per year. This is the anticipated salary range for fully qualified candidates. The final salary offered will be dependent on several factors that include and are not limited to relevant previous experience, job responsibilities and duration of experience, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
