Living Free Psychotherapy Center is searching for a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote role. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, plus a sign-on bonus. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations, effectively documenting progress and tailoring interventions from the onset of treatment to conclusion.
• Develop individualized treatment and recovery plans for clients, aligning therapeutic goals with best practices in mental health care.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing innovative techniques to engage clients and foster therapeutic relationships.
• Monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment plans, adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to provide holistic care.
• Assist in the management of referrals to other specialists when necessary, ensuring a cohesive approach to client care.
• Identify potential barriers to recovery, implementing strategies to mitigate these challenges for clients and their families.
• Support family members and primary caregivers by equipping them with tools and insights necessary to manage mental and behavioral health issues effectively.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in the state of California is mandatory.
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is necessary.
• Previous experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating a strong clinical background.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, and able to navigate digital platforms for effective documentation.
• Experience working with clients who have underlying physical health conditions or addiction disorders, providing integrated care approaches.
• Familiarity with the practices and guidelines set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
• Comprehensive knowledge of psychopharmacology and the interactions of medications prescribed by medical professionals.
