As a receptionist, you'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite, you will report to the Manager, Clinic/Center Administration. You'll manage front desk operations, support clinical staff, and help maintain a smooth and compassionate environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic setting and enjoys making a positive impact on others.

As a receptionist, you'll:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
  • Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
  • Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.
  • Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
  • Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience in healthcare customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered
  • Convey information and maintain a positive, tone during calls
  • Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow
  • Experience using MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization
  • Experience improving patient care and experience
  • This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Value-based care model experience
  • Prior experience in a Medical Office Setting
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Experience with ERM Athena
