Our team at The Recruiting Pros is conducting a search for an Automation Engineer for an industrial manufacturing company located in Rock Hill, SC.Youโ€™ll be proud to work for this organizationas you progress through your career.This company is well recognized in the industry and looking to hire toptalent to take them to the next level.

Routine responsibilities will require you to:

  • Implement Lean manufacturingfor the lines within your oversight; promote 5S solutions.
  • Design a worldclass line balancing, with the lowest throughput time using AVIX.
  • Design the mostefficient and ergonomic workstations, allowing different combinations accordingto the volumes seasonality.
  • Design flexiblelines and tools able to assemble a variety of products, with the goal ofsignificantly reducing the number of assembly lines.
  • Automate the final test equipment to be renewed.
  • Reduce reworkby an active route cause analysis from FTR Andon.
  • Perform Poka-yoketo build-in quality by using DC power tools.
  • Deploy aco-working robotics solution (or equivalent) to be proposed and implemented.
  • Maximizeoperator presence by anticipating accident, having ergonomic stations, throughKaizen and audit
  • Optimizeenvironment footprint in operation (scrap, CO2 in test โ€ฆ).
  • Oversee IMS(ISO9001, 14000 & OHSAS) mandatory, legal and internal requirement fulfillmentfor manufacturing, including hazard identification and risk assessment.
  • Be an activemember of the NPD process, to introduce new parts, in due time.
  • Optimize lineperformance; prepare line setup, tooling, equipment, balancing; perform PFMEA.
  • Define new workinstructions for the Operators, perform training.
  • Validate andimprove the prototype; provide timely management of the DN (design notification).
  • Benchmarkcompetition and market technology trends to suggest new way of working to increasequality and reduce cost(virtual reality,augmented reality, AGV, automation, AVIX, MES, etc.).

Required Experience

  • B.S. Degree in Automation/ Robotics Engineering; Masters Degreeis a plus
  • 10+ yearsโ€™experience in automation, with successful projects implementation
  • Green and/or Black Belt Certification is a plus
  • Exposure to internationalbusiness within a large organization is a plus
