Job description

Schedule: Full Time Weekdays Only. 32 hours per week.

More about our team

The Sovah School of Health Professionals is situated on the campus of Sovah Health - Danville. It provides full-time, two-year programs that prepare students for careers in healthcare through hands-on training and education. Our radiologic technology program is accredited by the Joint Review Committee (JRCERT). 

How you'll contribute

A Clinical Instructor who excels in this role:

  • Is responsible for the supervision, evaluation, and grading of students in the clinical environments. Serves as a consultant for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development. 
  • Designs, implements, and assesses learning activities and curriculums related to clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies. 
  • Serves as a member of the Advisory Committee and holds an equal responsibility in the programs' accreditation process.

What we're looking for 

Applicants should be graduates of a program in Radiologic Technology and hold an Associates' degree in Radiologic Technology.

  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. 
  • Licensure by the Commonwealth of Virginia Dept of Health Professionals is required. 
  • 1 year of experience as an ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist is required. 
  • Membership in the Virginia and American Societies of Radiologic Technologists is preferred.
