We're seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join a respected tribal healthcare organization dedicated to improving behavioral health outcomes through compassionate, culturally responsive care.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
  • Medication management
  • Diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and behavioral health professionals
  • Participate in peer review and quality improvement activities
  • Review medical records and utilization of care when appropriate
  • Support behavioral health integration into primary care
  • Participate in community outreach and mental health education
  • Maintain timely documentation and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Attend provider meetings, clinical conferences, and required trainings
Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Board-Certified Psychiatrist
  • Active, unrestricted California medical license
  • Current DEA registration
  • Current CPR and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum two years of community-based medical practice experience
  • Strong interest in serving Native American communities
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with quality improvement and healthcare delivery systems
