Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to connect with clients via a secure telehealth platform. You will benefit from a flexible work schedule, creating your own appointments between Monday and Friday, within the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM. All sessions will leverage advanced digital tools to assess symptoms, track patient progress, and deliver evidence-based treatment, empowering you to focus solely on improving patient outcomes without the need for on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly live video sessions with individual adult clients, focusing on evidence-based methodologies to support their mental health journeys.
• Utilize symptom self-assessments and functional improvement measures to inform your treatment plans and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatric providers and other counselors to develop comprehensive treatment strategies that enhance client care.
• Document and monitor client progress, employing clinical software systems to track outcomes and improve therapeutic practices.
• Participate in team meetings and professional consultations to gain insights from peers and enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Sunshine Psychological Health Center, you will primarily work with adult clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mood disorders. You will engage with an increasingly diverse client population, requiring you to deliver culturally sensitive support that resonates with individuals from different backgrounds and experiences. Embracing inclusivity, you will ensure every client feels valued and understood throughout their therapeutic process.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly with higher risk or adult populations.
• Strong technical proficiency with telehealth tools and adaptations of clinical practices to virtual environments.
• A commitment to providing care that is respectful of, and tailored to, the diverse needs of all clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based interventions for individuals dealing with various mental health disorders.
• A strong track record of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting to achieve the best client outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Sunshine Psychological Health Center offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
