This is an onsite position and reports to the Tool Install Manager (TIM). It will require regular on-site engagement with stakeholders and suppliers as well as virtually working with others across sites.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Support equipment readiness and commissioning for Tool Demo, Conversion and Installation up to Supplier Qualification; from Pre-Design through construction install to SL2SO
  • Support the TIM and Functional Area Teams on delivering project success for safety, quality, scope, schedule and budget of the area
  • This role will develop, direct and influence a team of Engineers and Technicians directly and in a matrix environment, while providing guidance to suppliers on execution priorities and productivity
  • Manage onsite CW construction resources and equipment vendors including funding, forecasting, providing performance feedback and logistics support in concert with rest of site operations
  • Ensure the site execution teams have prompt forecasting, procurement, delivery, set and commissioning of equipment to meet program needs. Integrate planning and coordination across construction trades, equipment vendors and third parties
  • Interact with Central Tool Install (CTI)/Virtual Factory (VF) counterparts routinely to enable cross-site learning and developing Best Known Methods (BKMs) for tool installs scope and facility preparation and commissioning activities
  • Facilitate taskforces, after action reviews (AARs), Lean initiatives in pursuit of continuous improvement in FCS processes. Uses judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices
  • Foster innovation and transform traditional construction practices by driving new methods and engineering solutions through leveraging industry insights
  • Flexibility to work across the various areas within Tool Install, taking on additional horizontal scope as required to meet needs of the project/program
  • Build and drive safety culture of caring in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction and tool commissioning execution
  • Role model safety and quality for new tool installations across construction, suppliers, and Install Qualification (IQ) personnel

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or other related technical discipline with 3+ years of relevant work experience

OR

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or other related technical discipline with 2+ years of relevant work experience

Years of relevant work experience would include one or more of the following in:

  • Demonstrated project or program management in large scale construction
  • Factory tool install/qual ramps

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and expertise in the installation, conversion and de-installation of Wet Etch and/or Planar process tool equipment
  • Understanding and experience with enterprise systems and tools supporting project execution, including planning, procurement, capacity management, quality tracking, and safety compliance
  • Experience in 3rd Party supplier management and coordination of day-to-day operations
  • Professional Project Manager (PMP), Lean or 6-Sigma certification
