Job description

Staff Registered Nurse (RN)

Burnett Medical Center is currently seeking a prn/casual Staff Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med-Surg Department.

Shift & Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am)
  • 24 hours during a 4-week time frame
  • One weekend shift per 8 week period. Weekend shifts are those that begin at 7AM on Friday and conclude with shifts that end at 7 AM on Monday
  • One holiday per year and department need

Job Summary:

The Staff Registered Nurse is accountable for the professional nursing functions of supporting, planning, directing, communicating, and evaluating direct patient care for all ages. Demonstrate personal and professional growth and competent nursing practice.

This position is not benefit-eligible, but does include opportunity to participate in Burnett Medical Center's 401k retirement plan and up to a 3% match.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current RN licensure to permit practice as a registered nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Current certification or eligibility to become ACLS, PALS certified within 6 months of employment.
  • Basic ECG Monitoring experience.
