Position Summary

Join SHEIN as a Director of Government Relations & Stakeholder Engagement and be at the forefront of fashion and retail innovation! Based in our Washington, DC, office, you'll work in a fast-paced environment developing and implementing cutting-edge strategies and communicating the benefits to American consumers of our on-demand business model for a global company. You will collaborate across teams internally and tell our story externally. Job Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key figures in the executive branch and independent agencies, as well as with United States Senators as warranted.
  • Track regulatory and legislative developments, providing our leadership with timely updates and insightful analyses.
  • Assess proposed regulations, executive orders, and legislation, evaluating their implications and formulating strategic, savvy responses.
  • Draft impactful policy communications, including executive briefing documents, white papers, and virtual and in-person presentations.
  • Create vibrant storytelling to showcase our teamโ€™s stellar work.
  • Present key information about SHEIN to government and non-governmental stakeholders with flair.
  • Develop grassroots lobbying tactics to champion our public policy goals.
  • Strengthen relationships with national and local organizations to highlight SHEINโ€™s positive contributions to consumers and the retail industry.
  • Create innovative advocacy strategies - thinking outside of the box and pushing boundaries.
  • Host informative visits for key officials and staff at our distribution centers, pop-ups, and multi-media headquarters.
  • Manage stellar external consultants and support ad-hoc projects as needed.
