Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Telemetry RN for a stepdown intermediate care unit requiring at least 1 year of experience and a compact or OK RN license.

Details
  • 28-bed cardiac telemetry stepdown unit caring for cardiac patients including post-op care
  • Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-6
  • Supported by PCTs, healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs
  • Level I trauma center serving patients of all ages
  • Night shift schedule from 18:30-07:00
  • 13-week assignment length
  • Up to 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule period
  • Holiday coverage required based on department need
Requirements
  • Active RN license (Standard or Compact/OK) currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification through the AHA
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, documenting and communicating patient condition
  • Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
