Job description

Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the CEO and the CEO, Virtual Administrative Assistants will provide administrative and clerical support to assist with effective operations of the Executive Office of AADA and manage or support special projects.

This role requires the ability to exercise discretion and take independent initiative. This role utilizes online communication channels, such as internet, dropbox, phone, e-mail, text and others to deliver information to donors, partners, volunteer staff, and others.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing and editing documents and correspondence (memorandums, email responses, letters, reports, instructional documents, outreach materials, donation requests, etc)
  • Prepare PowerPoint/Canva presentations, graphics
  • Data entry
  • Simple research (background information on potential grantors, partnerships, events, etc)
  • Assist with grant application research as needed
  • Creating and maintaining organizational systems (primarily using Google Suite: Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Forms)
  • Assist with managing accounts and calendars
    • Scheduling and coordination of meetings and events
  • Assist with social media needs
  • Assist with creating and distributing the newsletter
  • Assist with website maintenance as needed
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

Skills and Specifications
