Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client needs through in-depth interviews and case histories, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique circumstances.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that define measurable goals and track client progress toward recovery.
  • Provide timely and effective crisis intervention during sessions, addressing immediate and long-term needs in a supportive manner.
  • Maintain clear, accurate records of client achievements and challenges, adhering to best practices in documentation and confidentiality requirements.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of treatment plans and adjust interventions based on client feedback and progress assessments to enhance their overall outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, actively participating in case conferences and contributing insights that influence decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate referrals to community services and other required support systems, ensuring that clients have access to comprehensive resources that aid their recovery journey.
  • Advocate for clients within the legal system when necessary, offering testimony and evidence at court proceedings to support their claims and needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve often have a history of neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, and mental health or substance abuse issues. Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is essential.
