Responsibilities will include help with light household duties such as laundry and cleaning, along with personal care needs including incontinence care, bathing, meal preparation, cooking, and providing meaningful companionship.

Salary: $12 - $14 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, grocery shopping, etc.)
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene
  • Plan and prepare meals
  • Perform housekeeping duties
  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving

Qualifications

  • Enjoy giving clients the above and beyond "wow" factor
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
  • Pleasant and customer-friendly, self-starter, organized, and able to manage tasks efficiently on your own
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 yr)
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
