Middle School Math Tutors (South Fulton: Fairburn/College Park/East Point Areas).
New Generation Academy, a fully accredited school, seeks to hire Middle School Math Tutors.
Job Description (Required):
  • This is a face-to-face opportunity only.ย  Please do not apply if you are seeking virtual work only.
  • Tutors should be equipped to accelerate student learning using various curriculum resources provided by the school and partner organizations.
  • You will use student data to differentiate math instruction for your students and adapt lesson plans as needed.
  • Tutors must have at least two years of experience tutoring or teaching in the middle school math subject areas.
  • Tutors should be available during the school day for their assignments (approximately 8 a.m.โ€”3 p.m.) three to five days per week.
  • Tutors must pass a proficiency exam in the subject area(s) they will tutor.
  • Prospects must pass a comprehensive background check, including fingerprinting.
  • Paid pre-service training and in-service professional development are provided.
  • You must be prepared to navigate varying hardware and software technology and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
  • You'll need to proactively approach work to complete timely deliverables and maintain a work-life balance.
