Description
The Loss Control Executive is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and helping mitigate safety and risk exposures for clients across a variety of industries. This role involves conducting on-site inspections, assessing workplace safety programs, providing actionable recommendations, and partnering with clients to improve risk management practices, regulatory compliance, and overall safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, and audits to identify potential hazards and risk exposures.
  • Prepare detailed written reports outlining inspection findings, risk levels, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Evaluate workplace safety programs, policies, and procedures for effectiveness and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide practical recommendations to improve safety performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and customize safety manuals, policies, procedures, and protocols for clients.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs, including classroom, on-site, and virtual training as needed.
  • Conduct defensive driving training for client employees.
  • Assist clients with the assessment of new business operations, processes, and projects, and make appropriate risk and safety recommendations.
  • Support clients in the development and implementation of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
  • Collaborate with client management teams to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and follow up on corrective action plans to ensure identified issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Stay current on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to safety and loss control.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by providing ongoing consultation and guidance to improve client safety outcomes.

Position Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSP, ASP, ARM, or equivalent are a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in loss control, safety consulting, risk management, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and other applicable safety regulations and standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong report-writing capabilities.
  • Proven ability to assess risk, analyze data, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as required.

Work Environment
  • Combination of office, field, and client-site work.
  • Some travel required, including overnight stays.
  • Physical ability to walk production floors, climb stairs or ladders, and work in various environments as needed.
