Job description

Legal Assistant Position

Direct hire, full-time position in an office located in Glendale, CA. Salary: $45k-60k. This law office covers personal injury, employment, criminal, and WC (defense). Business casual environment in a boutique law firm office setting. Full-time schedule (in office) M to Fri, 8am to 4:30pm. Vaccinated: Not required. Spanish, Farsi or Armenian speaking is a plus but not required. Personal injury experience 2 yrs. Pre-litigation & litigation including trial: 2 yrs. Familiar with Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, and Dropbox. Familiar with Google Gmail and calendaring. Able to handle a caseload of 30 to 40 cases. 2 yrs of answering and propounding discovery. Very important. Familiar with e-filing and familiarity with statutes, codes, local rules, etc. Will be working closely with attorney and Office Manager. Legal Assistant will have their own desk. Needs to be able to pick up fairly quickly. Interview process: 1 interview but prefers in person but can accommodate a virtual interview if necessary.
