An established firm based in Riverside, CA with over 25 years in practice is seeking a Litigation Legal Secretary with 3+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This role will support attorneys handling insurance defense civil litigation, including state and federal court filings, discovery, document production, calendaring, transcription, case management, and trial preparation.

Salary range: $60,000-$70,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications:
3+ years of litigation legal secretary experience in a civil litigation law firm setting
Strong understanding of civil procedure and filing requirements in California state and federal courts
Experience with e-filing, discovery, document production, document management, task management, calendaring, case management, transcription, and trial procedures
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and internet research tools
Advanced verbal, written, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment
Professional communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Responsibilities:
Support attorneys with all phases of insurance defense civil litigation matters
Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and litigation-related documents
Handle state and federal court e-filing and maintain compliance with court rules and filing deadlines
Manage litigation calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial-related dates
Assist with discovery, document production, document management, and case organization
Coordinate transcription, case management tasks, and trial preparation projects
Communicate professionally with attorneys, staff, courts, clients, opposing counsel, and vendors
