The posted compensation range of $18.00 - $27.67/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. We value our incredible Certified Nursing Assistants and want to ensure they practice at the top of their license to better optimize their skills and experience. We've also developed a career path framework for CNAs that clarifies paths to move, develop and advance CNA careers into nursing and other roles. The Certified Nursing Assistants provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Six months previous CNA experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program required
  • State registered CNA license required
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred. CPI training required if sitting with M-1 holds

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

For more than 50 years, St. Anthony North Hospital has delivered optimal health care to the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn and Thornton. Highlights of our campus include 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, ambulatory surgery center, birthing center with private birthing suites, Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. In 2023, we received our prestigious Magnet designation! We are so proud of our nursing staff for this achievement, which is awarded to less than 6 percent of hospitals in the United States.
