Purpose and Objective:
Honeywell International Inc. seeks a Senior CX Training Professional at our Houston, TX location to prepare for standard training, set-up and configure required training hardware and software, and deliver training courses compliant with Honeywell HPS and Honeywell Academy Quality procedures.

Responsibilities
Expectations and Tasks:
Continuously update training equipment, hardware and software in accordance with the latest releases of training courses. Maintain technical knowledge as Subject Matter Expert on 3 or more areas of expertise and be able to deliver training on these subjects as a certified instructor. Design and deliver tailored courses in line with specific customer requirements, this by collecting and selecting standard training materials from standard courses into a customer specific tailored course. Collect student feedback after training delivery. Suggest training course improvements to the Honeywell Academy organization. Be familiar with virtual and remote training delivery technologies to provide training for both classroom based and remote training. Support Honeywell Academy Pole Leader or Master Scheduler in training logistics & operations. Provide solutions to training requests and can autonomously produce proposals for large training programs. Assist sales and marketing teams with presentations and support to customers. Contribute to the design of new courses by providing input to the Honeywell Academy development team on new course developments within the areas of expertise. Interacts proactively with customers to understand new training needs and identify new topics / courses addressing these needs. Propose new courses and lead the design (coordinating with the development team). Maintains a higher technical knowledge on specific courses within the areas of expertise to certify other instructors within the pole on these courses. Can conduct Training Needs Analysis to support design of specific training programs. Coaches/mentors other instructors to enhance their technical skills within the areas of expertise. Coaches/mentors other instructors to enhance their teaching skills on classroom based and new training delivery technologies.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electromechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must include five (5) years involving each of the following:
  • MS SQL Server Implementation, Maintenance or Troubleshooting;

  • MS Windows Server Implementation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting;

  • Networking (i.e. Cisco networks, Aruba, etc.) Implementation, Maintenance or Troubleshooting;

  • Process Control Systems Design, Implementation, Administration, Maintenance or Troubleshooting; and

  • Process Control System Backup and Restore Implementation or Administration.

Experience must include three (3) years involving each of the following:
  • IT Domains and Workgroups Implementation, Maintenance or Troubleshooting.

  • Virtualization technologies Implementation, Maintenance or Troubleshooting.

  • Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) Design, Implementation, Administration, Maintenance or Troubleshooting, (including knowledge in vbscript or jscript).

BASE SALARY: $88,317 per year
Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic and international travel (currently LATAM).
