Job description

Senior Instructional Designer
C² Technologies seeks a Senior Instructional Designer to work closely with leadership and subject matter experts in conceptualizing, designing, and creating training solutions. This senior role includes leading instructional strategy, mentoring other designers, and ensuring quality and consistency across training modalities. This is an onsite or hybrid position.
Summary:
The Senior Instructional Designer will lead the creation of instructional strategies, serve as a thought leader, and mentor junior designers. The position also ensures high-quality delivery of training materials in multiple formats including eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), and blended learning environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Design instructional strategies and lead high-profile training initiatives.
  • Review and coach junior instructional designers to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop eLearning, mobile, and instructor-led training.
  • Ensure training solutions are innovative and align with departmental goals.
  • Conduct needs assessments and identify appropriate learning strategies.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • MS/MA in instructional design, educational technology, or related field.
  • 6 years of instructional design experience, or 10 years with a BS/BA.
  • Experience with both virtual and classroom-based instructor-led training.
  • Expertise in developing digital learning solutions such as eLearning and mobile training.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Expertise in blended learning and instructional strategy.
  • Familiarity with cutting-edge learning technologies.

Tools & Software:
  • eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate).
  • Learning management systems (LMS) and content management tools.

Knowledge & Skills:
  • Expertise in learning theories and instructional strategies.
  • Ability to evaluate instructional design quality and provide targeted feedback.
