What is a virtual HIV counselor?

Virtual HIV jobs refer to roles that support HIV care, prevention, education, and management through remote or online platforms. These positions can include telehealth providers, online counselors, case managers, educators, or support staff who assist patients and communities virtually. The main goal is to expand access to HIV-related services and information, particularly for those who may face barriers to in-person healthcare. Virtual HIV jobs are increasingly important as digital health tools become more integrated into public health strategies.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a virtual HIV counselor?
