Job description

Visual Sound is seeking an Outside Sales Account Executive for our Live and Virtual Events Department in Broomall, PA. This (onsite) role is responsible for generating new business for our Audio-Visual Event Production/Staging services to expand our company's current customer base and supporting our existing clientele. 

Responsibilities:

  • Contacting/prospecting and meeting with clients, preparing sales proposals, and securing contracts in the Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Supporting the growth of the Division through acquisition of venues via preferred or exclusive contracts and agreements (may include hotels, special event venues and educational facilities).
  • Providing an accurate and timely submittal of sales orders and job notes to appropriate order processing and technical staff.
  • Maintaining a healthy pipeline at all times that ensures achievement of established revenue targets.
  • Attending site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the customer event experience.
  • Attending industry functions including tradeshows, networking events and forums.
  • Meeting or exceeding all company sales goals and objectives as it relates to this position.
  • Understanding event cost structure and incorporate this according to established profitability guidelines.
  • Identifying and securing exclusive and preferred status agreements with venues.
  • Collaborating with senior management through the sales and contracting phase.
