Cloud / DevOps Engineer L4 Description Are you looking to take the next step in your career as a Cleared Cloud / DevOps Engineer? Let's chat and see if we are a good match! Opportunity: Our partner is searching for an experienced Cloud and DevOps Engineer to support a classified Azure Government environment in Beavercreek, OH. In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure and Azure Virtual Desktop environments that power mission-critical operations for our customer. You'll bring hands-on expertise in infrastructure-as-code provisioning and drive automation efforts while operating in a secure environment. Successful candidates will already be comfortable operating in a DoD classified setting from day one. If you have deep, production-level Azure experience and want to work in a secure, high-trust environment where that expertise really matters, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Azure Infrastructure and IaC * Deploy and manage Azure resources via Infrastructure as Code, using Bicep as the primary tool, with supporting knowledge of JSON, YAML, and PowerShell. * Provision and maintain core Azure resources including storage accounts, Key Vault, virtual machines, VNets, subnets, and network security groups. * Maintain version-controlled, repeatable infrastructure deployments aligned with DoD security baselines. Azure Virtual Desktop * Deploy and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop environments, including host pools, application groups, and workspaces. * Build and maintain golden images using Packer via automated pipelines. * Rotate AVD session host images using Azure DevOps pipelines on a recurring basis. CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps * Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning and application delivery. * Support application deployment into Azure environments and troubleshoot deployment and operational issues. * Enforce consistent, traceable configuration across environments. Migration and Application Support * Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues and document resolution procedures. * Coordinate with onsite and remote teams to validate configurations and ensure operational handoff readiness. * Automation and Scalability * Develop automation solutions to reduce manual intervention and improve deployment reliability. * Scale infrastructure to meet evolving customer workload and performance requirements. Qualifications: * Active Security+ Certification is required. * Experience working in a classified Azure Region or delivering software into an AirGapped network. * Hands-on experience deploying Microsoft Azure Infrastructure via Bicep or Terraform. * Demonstrated experience with Azure Virtual Desktop. * Experience building golden images with Packer and rotating them via automated pipeline. * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related Field AND 3+ years leadership experience in relevant area of business OR equivalent experience. * 8+ years demonstrated performance in related technology. Preferred Qualifications: * Microsoft AZ-140 Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty certification. * Migration experience - on-premises to Azure or cloud-to-cloud. * Familiarity with container operations in Kubernetes or AKS environments. * Ansible or PowerShell automation experience. Requirements: * Must be within driving distance of Beavercreek, OH OR willing to relocate there (relocation packages available). * Must be willing to work fully onsite. * Must possess an active TS/ SCI clearance or above. * Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status.
