AERMOR LLC is hiring an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) System Administrator. This role will administer Navy Flank Speed Azure desktop environment server-based systems, security devices, distributed applications, network storage, and perform systems monitoring. As well as consult on network, application, and customer service issues to support computer systemsโ€™ security and availability.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Deploying and managingvirtual machines in Azure to support a large user base.
  • Closely monitor session statistics to develop and refine usage metrics to inform provisioning additional resources or shutting down unused resources; assist in development of service optimization models.
  • Providingtechnical support to the Enterprise Flank Speed Tier 2 service desk for troubleshooting issues as required.
  • ManagingWindows images include group policy and end user software.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5+ years IT experience with significant experience using Microsoft Azure.
  • Relevant experience as a Windows system administrator.
  • COMPTIA Security + certification or higher is required.
  • One or more of the following certifications are preferred: AZ-140, AZ900, or AZ104.
  • Working knowledge of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework.
  • Understanding of cloud computing and networking.
  • Hands on experience with PowerShell.
  • Superior organizational skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Great communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong attention to detail.

Compensation for this position is based on several considerations, including applicable contract wage rates and labor categories, geographic location, relevant professional experience, technical expertise, education, certifications, and overall alignment with the role's requirements.
