Responsibilities

Assists Development teams in the implementation of the DevOps chain

Supports onboarding activities for applications moving to the cloud

Helps support infrastructure for continuous delivery pipeline

Provisions and administers virtual machines and containers

Troubleshoots deployment and infrastructure issues

Responds to customer support queries and collaborates with team members to provide solutions.

Minimizes, and where possible, prevents system outages

Assists in documentation of procedures for deployment and support of the software

Engages in knowledge-sharing activities


     

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • 2-4 years of combined IT experience.
    • 1+ years of developing and deploying applications on a cloud infrastructure (AWS, VMWare, Azure, or similar)
    • Programming Experience: 2+ years of development experience with a programming language like Java, C#, Node.js JavaScript and related web frameworks
    • 1+ years of experience with one of the dynamic object-oriented programing language like Groovy, Ruby or Python
    Additional Information

    Agile & DevOps Experience:

    • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
    • Experience deploying applications on a cloud platform such as AWS or Azure. Knowledge of a Cloud-native platform such as Cloud Foundry.
    • Experience with creating Infrastructure as Code (Puppet, Chef, Anisole, etc.) Knowledge of operation intelligence tools such as Splunk or ELK.
    • General Abilities Self-starter, quick learner and highly adaptable to change. Able to manage great working relationships with co-workers and peer teams.
    • Effectively utilize SDLC tools, Continuous Integration, DevOps and automation technologies.
