• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health challenges, develop appropriate clinical diagnoses, and establish effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting techniques to meet the unique goals of each client.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stability.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team—including psychiatrists and social workers—to deliver comprehensive care that addresses all facets of clients' health.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health, the therapeutic process, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy by engaging in ongoing training and continuing education opportunities.

The therapist will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, necessitating a culturally sensitive approach to therapy that respects and honors each unique experience. Your role will directly impact their journey toward recovery and emotional resilience.

• A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist in New York State, such as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• A minimum of two years of related experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to foster trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.

• A commitment to adhering to high ethical and professional standards within the mental health field.

• Previous clinical experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation efficiently.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
