About the Organization

Caring Companions Behavioral Health Center is committed to improving mental health and wellness in the communities we serve. Our mission revolves around providing high-quality therapeutic services tailored to individual needs. We focus on fostering a supportive environment where clients feel safe and understood. With a dedicated team of professionals, we emphasize evidence-based practices and continual learning to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.

Work Environment

This role allows for remote work, offering flexibility to our therapists while maintaining strong support from our team. You will connect with colleagues through digital platforms, ensuring collaboration and communication are seamless. This setup enables you to manage your schedule effectively, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while providing vital mental health services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health concerns, formulate clinical diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities that align with the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients encountering acute mental health crises, utilizing your training to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment documentation, adhering to all ethical and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment options, and community resources, acting as an advocate for clients' rights when necessary.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and educational activities to stay informed on the latest best practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will encompass a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges. From anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship issues, your role will be instrumental in guiding clients toward recovery and resilience. You will work closely with clients across various demographics, enhancing their coping strategies and ensuring a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • Valid licensure in mental health therapy as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or LCSW-R.
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Exceptional clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a genuine passion for helping others.
  • A minimum of two years of direct experience in a mental health counseling role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to foster a trusting and therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • A commitment to ethical practice and the highest professional standards in mental health service delivery.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous clinical experience in a community health setting is preferred but not a barrier to entry-level candidates.
  • Experience with specific treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or EMDR.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additionally, employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, which supports your overall wellness.
