The Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Archbold Medical Center is a senior executive role responsible for leading the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all information technology (IT) initiatives across the healthcare system. The CIO will leverage technology to improve patient care, streamline operations, ensure data security, and enhance overall system efficiency. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CIO will work closely with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to drive innovation and ensure that the organization’s IT systems support its mission and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with Archbold Medical Center’s mission, vision, and business objectives.
  • Act as a visionary for the future of technology in healthcare, keeping the organization at the forefront of industry trends.
  • Collaborate with executive leaders to understand operational needs and develop technology solutions that enhance service delivery, patient care, and productivity.

Qualifications Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field required.
  • Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Certified Healthcare CIO (CHDIO), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are advantageous.
Experience
  • Minimum of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a healthcare organization.

Physical Demands
