Essential Job Functions:

  • Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work and to obtain the required security clearance

  • Design, develop, maintain, and executeautomated test scriptssupporting PeopleSoft HCM enhancements, defect fixes, releases, patching, and production support activities

  • Build scalable, reusable, and maintainableUFT-based automation assets, including shared functions, libraries, object repositories, parameterized components, and data-driven scripts

  • Develop supporting scripts to enhance automation execution, includingtest data management, environment setup, validation, and result verification

  • Automatefunctional, regression, integration, interface, and end-to-end testingacross PeopleSoft HCM modules, batch processes, reports, security roles, and system integrations

  • Implement robust test logic forsynchronization, exception handling, checkpoints, validations, and recovery scenariosto improve execution reliability and reduce false failures

  • Analyze automated test execution results, logs, and backend data toidentify defects and distinguish between script and application issues

  • Performroot cause analysis, documenting findings, reproduction steps, and recommended solutions for development and stakeholder teams

  • Collaborate withdevelopers, QA testers, business analysts, and support teamsto identify automation opportunities and align test coverage with release priorities

  • Maintain and continuously improveautomated regression suites, ensuring adherence to best practices for modularity, naming conventions, and data strategies

  • Supporttest environment readiness, including validation of system access, configurations, test data, and dependencies required for successful execution

  • Contribute to ongoing improvements inautomation frameworks, execution standards, and quality engineering practices

  • Develop or support automation usingPeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF)as program needs evolve; assist in evaluating emerging tools such asTricentis

  • Maintain accurateautomation documentation, execution reports, test evidence, and traceability artifactsto support auditability and release readiness

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

  • 3+ years of software QA and test automation experiencesupporting enterprise applications, with a strong track record of developing and maintaining automated test suites

  • Hands-on expertise withOpenText UFT (Unified Functional Testing), including scripting, reusable components, object repository management, checkpoints, parameterization, and troubleshooting

  • Experience automating testing forPeopleSoft HCMor similar enterprise systems, including online transactions, interfaces, batch processing, reporting, and end-to-end workflows

  • Ability to develop and maintainsupporting scriptsthat enhance automation execution, including data handling, validation, reporting, and framework efficiency

  • Experience in analyzing test failures, reviewing logs, validating expected results, and supporting structureddefect identification and retesting

  • Working knowledge ofSQL or query-based validationfor backend data verification

  • U.S. Citizenship is required

  • Ability to obtain and maintain aSecret security clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Experience buildingscalable automation frameworksand reusable assets to support enterprise-level regression testing

  • Strong understanding ofUFT automation best practices, including modular design, descriptive programming, synchronization strategies, recovery scenarios, and maintainable scripting standards

  • Experience withPeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF)for automating business processes

  • Familiarity withPeopleTools components, including Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, queries, reporting, and security testing

  • Exposure toTricentis tools(e.g., Tosca, qTest) for future-state automation or test management capabilities

  • Experience supporting automation acrossreleases, patches, PUM updates, and tax/regulatory updates, including regression impact analysis

  • Experience withdefect tracking, test evidence management, and automated execution reportingin Agile or similar environments

  • Prior experience supportingfederal or DoD programsor working in secured environments

  • Relevant certifications such asISTQB, UFT certification, or equivalent QA/automation credentials

Other Qualifications:

  • Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work and to obtain the required security clearance

  • Work Environment: Onsite/Hybrid or Remote as required by the contract.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $66,100 - $122,800.
