SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the team physician, and in accordance with the Pennsylvania Athletic Training Practice Act, the Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing athletic training services to student-athletes in the secondary school setting. This includes providing preventative measures appropriately, standard immediate care procedures used in emergency situations, clinical evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation/reconditioning of injuries.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Licensed in the state of employment as an Athletic Trainer
  • Current BOC certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • PIAA Weight Assessor Certification (can be obtained after employment)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
  • Minimum two (2) years experience preferred, however entry-level graduates with BOC certification are encouraged to apply.
