Adjunct instructors play a crucial role in delivering high-quality graduate-level instruction centered on equity-minded instructional leadership. Job Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:
- Teach courses in alignment with the university's mission and learning objectives.
- Develop and implement effective instructional strategies that promote student engagement.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student work.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
- Utilize the university's learning management system (Canvas) for course management.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to university policies.
- Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
- By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility.

We Are Looking for Candidates Who Have:
- A master's degree and current principal license in the state of Oregon.
- A minimum of 4 years of highly successful school level principal experience in Oregon.
- Demonstrated expertise in subject matter and commitment to teaching aspiring school/district office leaders.
- Recent experience working as a building or district office administrator in Oregon
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. This position does not offer visa sponsorship; therefore, only applicants who do not require sponsorship for employment visas, now or at any point in the future, should apply.
- A commitment to the University's Theology of Racial and Ethnic Diversity.
- A desire to work with a diverse community of students and employees who represent various cultures, backgrounds, abilities, ethnicities, political views, and expressions of Christian faith.
- A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a church. In addition, employees agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle Statement and affirm the theological commitments expressed in the Statement of Faith.
Preference will be given to those who have the following attributes:
- A background in early literacy and/or the Science of Reading.
- A depth of knowledge using data to inform decision making as an educational leader.
- A current Professional Administrator License in Oregon (ProAL).
- Familiarity with online teaching modalities.
- Strong experience in the field related to the subject matter being taught.
