We are seeking a full-time Mid-Level Training Specialist who designs, delivers, and maintains training programs that build practical skills and operational readiness across technical and non-technical audiences. This role supports established training initiatives while independently developing content, delivering instruction, and improving learning outcomes based on stakeholder needs and performance feedback.
The ideal candidate combines solid subject-matter knowledge, strong communication skills, and hands-on instructional experience, with the ability to operate independently while coordinating with senior training staff and program leadership.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain training materials including presentations, guides, exercises, labs, and assessments.
  • Update existing curricula to reflect evolving technologies, procedures, and organizational requirements.
  • Align training content with policies, standards, frameworks, or operational workflows.
  • Tailor training materials to different audiences (technical staff, analysts, leaders, end users).
  • Deliver instructor-led training, workshops, and briefings (in-person and virtual.)
  • Facilitate hands-on labs, tabletop exercises, or scenario-based training.
  • Support onboarding and recurring training programs.
  • Ensure training sessions are engaging, accurate, and outcome-focused.
  • Support training schedules, attendance tracking, and completion records.
  • Coordinate with SMEs, engineers, and leadership to ensure content accuracy.
  • Gather feedback and metrics to assess training effectiveness.
  • Assist with logistics for exercises, drills, and workshops.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend content or delivery improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends, threats, tools, and best practices relevant to the training domain.
  • Contribute to lessons-learned and after-action reviews.

Required Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience in training, education, cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical field.
  • Experience delivering instructor-led or structured technical training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, learnable content.
