Food and Beverage Operations Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Operations Manager to lead and elevate our restaurant operations across the resort. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving business performance.
As a key leader, you will collaborate with the Vice President of Great Eastern Purveyors oversee multiple dining operations, coach and develop managers, and play a critical role in shaping innovative food and beverage offerings that appeal to both resort guests and the local community.
What You Will Do
As the Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will lead all restaurant operations and performance, including:
  • Lead and support restaurant managers across multiple locations, ensuring operational excellence
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and cost control
  • Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and product mix optimization
  • Develop and execute staff training, leadership development, and performance management programs
  • Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce new products and concepts
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and ABC regulations
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence in operations with a hands-on leadership approach
  • Build relationships with vendors, partners, and the local community

What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills (including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database applications)
  • 3-5 Years of food and beverage management experience
  • Understanding of ABC regulations
  • Knowledgeable with adult beverages (beer, wine, and liquor)

Desired Qualifications
  • Resort, hospitality, or tourism experience
  • Industry-specific knowledge of operations including point of sale systems
  • Virginia ABC Manager Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • ServSafe Certification
