YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)

The Revenue Coordinator plays a critical role in managing room revenue for Virgin Hotel and Casino in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position is responsible for effectively yielding and restricting hotel rooms and room rates to maximize occupancy and overall revenue performance. In addition, the Revenue Coordinator supports the Revenue team by assisting with the management of third-party distribution channels, ensuring rate integrity, availability accuracy, and optimal channel performance. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to support strategic revenue initiatives and day-to-day revenue operations.

THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties)
  • Monitor room inventory daily and sets restrictions accordingly (MLOS,CTA/CTD) in order to maximize occupancy and ultimately room revenue
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Junction, Casino, and Finance teams to support revenue initiatives including but not limited to special promos, and events.
  • Responsible for overseeing and executing these initiatives internally as well as external hotel partnerships
  • Assist in the daily management of room inventory, rates, and restrictions across all distribution channels
  • Keeps current and aware of all room rates, packages, specials and other hotel/casino information that customers may inquire about for Virgin Hotels; ensures accuracy of information and responsible for communicating this information to all employees in relevant departments
  • Manage and audit all Revenue Management system and tools, Duetto, HBSI, SynXis, LMS, LMS Interfaces, and R&I, ensuring that its position is consistent with selling strategy
  • Maintain and build all group codes, rate plans, rate strategies, billing profiles and booking engine weblinks for transient, marketing, executive, casino, consortia, corporate, wholesale, and OTA accounts
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports as requested by VP of Hotel Operations and Revenue and the Executive Director of Revenue Management
  • Assist in managing third-party distribution channels (OTAs, wholesale, and other partners).
  • Ensure rate parity and inventory accuracy across all online and offline channels
  • Manage Room Master File for updating/creating room inventory and room type mapping
  • Keeps log of all trends, events, citywide conventions, etc. that affect hotel occupancy
  • Support forecasting and budgeting processes by compiling and analyzing daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned to assist the Reservations, Revenue Management and Front Office departments

  • This position operates in a working environment that is sedentary in nature and subject to varying levels of noise
WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE'S
  • 5+ years of hands-on Hotel Revenue Management experience in a Hotel and Casino
  • High level knowledge of the equipment and computer systems associated with the position, including but not limited to Agilysys LMS (PMS), Duetto, SynXis and R&I
  • Computer literate with a high-level command of Excel
