JOB TITLE

Public Relations Tour Experience Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL DO

   The Tour Specialist for Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) leads the development, coordination, and execution of the company's tour and visitor experience.
   This position is responsible for managing all aspects of facility tours and visitor experiences, including scheduling, logistics, presentations, reporting, VIP engagement, program development, and continuous improvement. The Tour Specialist will create memorable experiences that showcase HMGMA's advanced manufacturing technologies, innovative culture, workforce opportunities, and local impact.
   The ideal candidate is an exceptional communicator who thrives in front of audiences, possesses strong organizational and project management skills, and can confidently explain technological processes, robotics, vehicle production, and emerging technologies to audiences ranging from elementary students to VIP guests.
Essential Responsibilities
   Tour Program Management
   Manage HMGMA's tour and visitor experience program from initial request through post-visit follow-up.
   Coordinate scheduling, logistics, communications, visitor registration, transportation, security clearances, PPE requirements, and facility access.
   Develop, maintain, and continuously improve tour processes, standards, scripts, presentations, and visitor materials.
   Build and maintain annual tour calendars and scheduling systems.
   Serve as the primary point of contact for all tour-related inquiries.
   Maintain and utilize tour equipment to include carts/shuttles and tour headsets.
   Identify opportunities to enhance visitor engagement through technology, storytelling, interactive experiences, and process improvements.
   Tour Facilitation & Public Speaking
   Lead engaging and informative tours for a wide variety of audiences including industry leaders, corporate visitors, community leaders, educational or military visitors, workforce development, media representatives, community partners, and general guests.
   Translate complex manufacturing and technology concepts into clear, engaging, audience-appropriate messaging.
   Represent HMGMA with professionalism and confidence.
   Prepare customized itineraries, talking points, briefing materials, and visitor information packets for special guests.
   Anticipate visitor needs and resolve issues proactively.
   Program Development & Content Management
   Maintain current knowledge of HMGMA operations, products, manufacturing processes, workforce initiatives, sustainability efforts, and technological advancements.
   Develop and update tour content, presentations, talking points, FAQs, and educational materials.
   Support future expansion of the visitor experience and operations of the exhibition center.
   Reporting & Analytics
   Track and maintain tour program metrics, visitor data, attendance, demographics, satisfaction scores, and engagement trends.
   Collect and analyze visitor feedback to enhance future experiences.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

   Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Communications, Marketing, Business, Education, Hospitality Management, Performing Arts, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
   Minimum 3 years of experience in public speaking, customer engagement, education, hospitality, communications, event coordination, visitor services, or a related field.
   Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
   Strong presentation and storytelling abilities.
   Experience coordinating schedules, events, programs, or visitor experiences.
   Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
   Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
   Ability to learn and effectively communicate technical manufacturing and technology concepts.
   Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout manufacturing and visitor areas.
Preferred Qualifications
   Experience in manufacturing, technology, public relations, education, tourism/hospitality, or workforce development.
   Experience working with executives, elected officials, media representatives, or VIP audiences.
   Experience developing presentations, educational programming, exhibits, or public-facing content.
   Experience utilizing reporting tools and analytics to evaluate program performance.

Working Conditions
